Hello fortunately you are correct, the site need much needed software upgrading and the registration was disabled for 3 years which pretty much killed it off unfortunately.

Very hard to get a community like this kick started due to the arrival of places like Facebook.

The site is now pretty much an archive but may gain interest back over time.

Except for folks like me who loathe Facebook because it's full of crap.

I actually one a Metal Detecting Forum that is a forum software like this but is extremely popular, one of the most or popular in the UK presently ::g B-)
Many people do detest Facebook and very much still prefer these style forums ::g

Unfortunately with this one I am to blame not updating the old software we were using and having the registrations disabled for about 3 years killed it dead.

Its still going to be a useful archive for years to come and maybe at some point it may get a few members creating a small community ::g

Thanks
mrix
