Hi guys
I had a go at east beach last night. I fish until an hour before high tide. I was hopping to stay longer but my young son was getting tired. Using sand eel, squid and rag worm for bait. I managed a silver eel, small conger of around 1.5ib and a couple of black bream around 10cm. I think the bright moon last night killed it. I didn’t get a single bite once the moon came up.
I’m going to give church norton ago on Thursday or Friday during the day.
Cheers
Phil

Yes, you are right about the moon. These days I just don't bother if there is going to be a high bright moon as I have too often seen the affects on beach fishing in the past. I don't knw why it happens but it does.
