fished a couple of weeks ago had a cod 3lb a couple of days later fished withernsea my mate 50yds up the beach was catching whitings all I could get was big brown eating crabs fished a couple of days later had a 5lb cod and 3 days a go I had a 6lb and a 4lb cod I will post pics soon im hoping to be back fishing longer spells over Christmas I have one more operation on the 18th of December then I hope to get the all clear

Great to see your catching.

If you need an easy session, which is physically easier and less demanding, have a crack at Makro area.
You can pretty much just fish from your car, keeping warm and out of the elements, and you wont be carrying your gear long distances.

I'm sure you're familiar with the area but if not I don't mind showing you.

I know the area but I don't like the thought of climbing over the fence to lift my fish out

If you fish further up past the fence behind makro the wall drops off straight after the fence... so you can pull fish straight up.

That far up though you'll have to leave your car, but literally only for 20 yds.
