hi all just thought i would give you all a update on my holiday fishing.. after a great and informative chat with tony ( think that was his name sorry if not) at segul tackle in greatstone, my wife and i went to the wooden walk way in dungeness on thursday, we fished about 20mins from high tide till around 18.00 and caught..........bugger all .. we were fishing lug / mackrel cocktail andf as far as i can tell we had no bites.. and i did not see any fish coming in from neighbouring anglers.. we returned on fri and fished about 1hour from high tide till around 17.30 we fished in front of the power station and again caught diddley!!!!! oh well it was a lovely couple of days and the weather was great.. and it would be callled catching not fishing if it was easy..
it,s a shame when youhave a couple of session like you had when youve come so far .but as you say it would be called catching if it was wasy.butif you get down to dungie again dont let it put you off because that place can and dose quite oftern produce some good catches .best and better luck next time out
