maggy lane
Hi Struggler,
I live 2mins from maggy lane and fish there on a regular basis. You can expect the usual pouting and whitting but will often throw up doggies bass, sole, flounder and eels. all coneventional baits will work with rag squid and mackeral being the most popular. Normal 3 hook clip down or flapper rigs fish around the 30-40yard mark along with a pennel at distance for the bigger spieceis or live bait about 20yrds out for bass. If you fish the wall section then be aware of the rocks very close in if the tide is low wen there covered they dont pose much of an issue. the beach section down the far end is very snaggy and requires a lead lift and fast retrieve. between the 3rd lampost and 6th tend to be the section i favour most. any more qustions please ask. tight lines
