calshot beach [ near castle ]

hi all first time fishing here had a few hours here on sunday arrived 10am fished near the castle as i am now a member of the angling club. started off with ragworm on both rods within 2 mins both rods were away first rod in a small black bream followed by another on other rod. it was like this for a few hours. could not cast out far as the jet skis were there. at around 1pm 3 worms went on the baiting needle on the hook up the line out she went few mins later gentle tap tap on rod tip picked it up struck and all hell broke loose 15 mins later in come a nice 10lb smoothhound. after that had a few more bream and bass wasntn`t sure of bream min limit so all fish went back but had at least 5 dinner plat size bream. have picture of hound but not sure how to add it on here. all in all had a great days fishing will be going again very soon.

Sounds like a great little sesh clive , well done mate think the minimal size limits for bream is 24 cms

Well done mate that is a good session looks like things are picking up all over which is good news...in fairness though Calshot has been baited up for last few months by Simon!!!!! lol
