hi all just thought id post a couple of pics of my boat that i got yesterday, which in total i drove from 10am till 12midnight lol.
Since these pictures were taken this morning ive jet washed it clean taken off all the little handles etc, sanded the red down maksed all the bits i dont want paint on, all ready for me to start the pinting tomorrow.
Don't know about river boat the CJR was a good inshore little craft in it's day and they are still popular for the first time buyer.
These little boats have stood up to the test of time and have a reasonable reputation, far better than the Dijon which was a pig in choppy waters.
Cheers keith
the CJR is an inshore boat and is capable of taken a 70hp engine believe or not, it has a catergory C hull, it was taken over by Seahog who renamed it the Trio. mine has a 30hp which pushes it at around 25kts plus and as keith says they are a very good platform for fishing. mine was resprayed as the previous owner had polished it to death, had it done with marine primer then a 2 pac for top coat. its on the boat register with pics. they look nice when they are kept clean. worth the effort cant wait to see yours when its finished andrew. peter
