Post by MadKev »

Is this the right page for this? Ambassadeur 6500 CT open frame, freebie. These reels are brill, birdsnests happen to other people, go 30% lighter on your line, cast farther, retrieve faster, use less lead. Mark you, this one's knacked. RRP £120, pick them up new for £70, ths one worth nowt at present.

2 yr old comp prize, stripped bolt-head in sub-zero conditions on one of three nuts which release gear cage. Captive bolt, so knacked unless taken to light engineering shop or foxy/ambitious/overconfident DIYer. Recommend cut 1mm slash across existing pin, use slash as head for screwdriver, remove cage, undo innards and replace bolthead. Going to fixed spool and conti 16' rod anyroadup as comp backup.

Binmen due 05 Jan 07.

PM me, first come first served, you pay post from Soton. Free to good but adventurous yet caring home. Enjoy, weirdo-engineery type folk, whilst I'm fishing. Merry New Happy, Rosh Hashanah, salaam, 4th Sunday after Lent. MadKev.

in all honesty i'd keep it mate, abu parts are pretty universal amongst reels and especially if you use other abu's

hold onto it for spares
