thank god for youtube!!!!!

Post by harv02redred » Mon Jul 06, 2009 6:38 pm

the last few trips out on my shortie with a 40 hp mariner 2001 have been getting slowly worse and worse with the running. last time out i had such bad idle / cutting out it was almost un-useable but once in gear and a little throttle you would`nt know . drained bowl ,cleaned tank. fresh fuel checked lines etc all ok still the same. tryed youtube and learned how to completly remove, strip, clean and adjust the carb . now perrrs like a V8, i mean a kittern. who needs to pay silly prices for a dealer to just look at it befor they then tell you it needs bla bla bla at enother x amount of pounds.

now all i need is some fish or a bite would be nice.
