Thames boat fishing.
Does anyone know what, if anything is happening on the charter boats in the estuary at the moment...........really fancy getting my line wet on a boat trip!!!
Was due to be out on boat (end Nov) from Burnham but was called off due to the high winds.
Skipper mentioned that unless we got out to the marks there was not a lot else around up the Estuary or in the Mouth of the river, but with the turn in Temperature there may be an Influx.
Due to the call off, 3 of us ended up on Walton Pier between us we had around 40 Whiting and 2 Rockling. 1 Whiting made the trip home for the Cat.
Some annoying youngster fishing all over the show seemed to end up with a Codling of around 2.5lb
, another guy caught a Doggie.
