Try again!

Post by tilburyboy »

Well after last weeks disappointment at tilbury wall worlds end, im going to give it another go :D not sure where yet,as ive had no reports which is not good news. Thinking maybe grays wharf, good news is big tides :) bad news is rain forecast and east to south east winds :(
Any recent reports plz let me know and i will post my report over the weekend.

Before i go, it would be nice to see a few more local reports on this forum.
Is it because nothing is being caught or not many going fishing?
good weekend to all!!!

hi mate
from what i can gather, its pretty quiet ( quite normal for this time of year )
at the wharf you should get a flounder or two.

my advice would to fish the left corner casting in a 10 oclock direction ( if that makes sense )
also, i always seem to get my better flounders from there when the tide has ebbed away quite a lot and there is about 20-30 feet of mud exposed in front of you

tight lines mate

Thanx lads,
I will give the wharf a go tonight, even though i just see two fishing there with four rods and not a touch.
I will try and come to a charity match or two, im looking to buy a van so i can go further afield.
At the moment i have a bmw z4 and cant fit much in the boot :(( so i have to use the missus car, dont mind driving it at night lol!
so as soon as i get a van i can blank wherever i want.

Fished Greys wall on 14 Feb caught small Bass using fresh lug worm tipped with herring, noticed all bites were very slight. Wisey
