Wanted to check out this area at low water so seeing as i had some bait left over from friday i took the rods with me,got down there 2 hrs after high tide and went to the east side of the point and found it to be pure sandImageImage
after about 3/4 hr had a tug on my running ledger baited with crab which produced a nice Flounder?[/img]
about an hr later had a couple of knocks and pulled in a schoolie Bass
Imageand although it was nearly 4hrs after HW i could still walk to the waters edge to return the fish. After this i packed up and cycled up to the red PLA lighthouse at the point to get a look at low water at what i think could be a good bass spot[/img]Image
the gulley just to the right of l/houseImageImage

Well done on the basslet & fluke Lee.
I have been told its best to fish this spot on the neap tide ,as the current really rips through on that side of the river.
