hi all,

first things first a very big thank you to everyone who braved the elements for the first league match, a great turnout indeed.

simon (edwards73) apologies for not getting your pm's mate im now back online and would like to say thank you for sorting the walton gig out.

thanks to cabrat dave for sorting the forum side of things out while ive not been online.

tight lines everyone hope to see you all at walton ;)

pie and mash sounds good to me :P :P

Thank god your back i thought i was going to organise the Walton job from the comfort of Rock fishing in Ilfracombe lol.

Well now your back the reigns are yours.

Just regarding the match best of luck mate there are already 21 places taken and hopefully more will join on the run up to it..

im looking at tide time for the end of april but they seem a bit unsociable,

how about sunday 25th 1044am hw,

how about a flattie bash down chalkwell or maybe east beach,

meet say 7am fish from 8am till 1pm

what you all think :D

where is chalkwell? and if it's high water at 10 why not say fish from say 9-2:30 as with like the other comp's or even make the timing longer if you feel it nesseary

Chalkwell is a little further west from Southend,it is still in the Estuary, only a few miles along from 'Scars elbow' which is of course to the East, it is where 'Eastender' always end up on a day out, I'm talking about the TV show of course!!!!!!!...................so if you hear someone shouting "Ricky, Ricky".................. you will know that Bianca is about !!!!!!!!! >:) .

Having never fished chalkwell i wouldnt know..!
But things to consider are. Does it fish better on the flood..? or the ebb..?
what time can we start fishing..? and what is the access like..?
