Caught this little lot from a boat moored up on a bouy at Gravesend. Arrived at about HW -2hours and bagged a 5lb cod on first cast using whole squid and it got better from there. Over the next three hours I managed 9 cod in total! The best was 12lb and included a couple at 7lb and three at around 5lb. As well as whole squid I used lug and squid together. At about HW +1hour it went quiet. I carried on fishing until 3am, including the next HW at about 1am but only managed another two, a 5lb and a 4lb. Not a bad days fishing I suppose!!

Nearly forgot to mention the 3 whiting and 1 pout landed and approx 5 others including at least 2 heavy cod that got away.

Thanks all. Had some deep fried in beer batter (stella and self raising flour) Superb!!!! I don't think I've ever tasted better cod. Let's hope everyone has a chance to taste some.
