Tilbury Fort this morning

had a go down tilbury fort this morning, high tide was at 2.30am, me and my mate started fishing at about midnight, i had 4 whiting (2 were decent sized) and a codling of about 2lb, my mate had a couple of whiting and lost a decent fish close in. we were having them on lug, squid and makerel cocktails...

the bloke fishing next to us had a few whiting, and at about 1hr before high tide he hooked into a nice codling which went 5lb, the cod coughed up a small whole pouting shortly after being landed, so they're out there and they're feeding! here's the pictures...

well done best thing about the worlds end you can watch your car and you know its safe unlike the rest of tilbury

nice one bonking, only trouble there, its very rocky right in front of the wall, do you lose any gear there ?? Steve.

it a nice place to fish long as you can cast more then 30 yards and no more then 100 yards you will be fine i dnt lose any there
