Southend Pier 27/09 - Report and Pics

Post by mulletman »

Hi all, fished Southend Pier today with good success again. Arrived approx 9.45am and had a very productive and active day. The pic shows 2 of 3 Mullet caught, weighing 3lb and 5lb, i also caught a smaller Mullet, around the 1.5 - 2lb mark which i returned. I also actually hooked a further 8 Mullet, which managed to get off the hook or bolt underneath the pier !!
A friend of mine also caught 3, and we saw one or two others caught.

Needless to say, a great day. Tight lines to you all !!

Thanks to all of you for your comments. I do agree that maybe another species could be in order Bluelion, but have tried and am no good at catching anything else ! LOL !

I would love to catch myself a decent Shore / Pier Cod this winter, so any offers or help here would be much appreciated !!

I will of course still catch the Mullet and retain my name in the meantime lol.

Tight lines to you all.

Phil - Mulletman.
