Hi everyone
Ive moved to Cumbria from the east coast I am keen to get amongst some beach fishing after a bit of a break due to work commitments. Any reports would be welcome - I am now in the Whitehaven area.

dear luggy try harrinton as i caught a ( DAD BASS Polock n a few codlings)
also try workington beach best spot is on line wid the light heading 2 wards the rocks but not 2 far and also try Maryport peir as i was there last week n caught (2 rockling belter of a plaice codlings but the big cod is beleved to be 500 yard off the peir

I am away at the minute but I should be out early December once I get all my gear sorted out.
Whats the best bait for these places?

dear luggy for the codlings i alaways use fresh or frozen lug topped off wid macky or bluey but i like to take a mix of bait wid me bait i used last week at maryport was fresh lug macky squid razor and i was catching on that

I will have to go digging when I get chance, in the mean time I will get some blueys and squid. I am looking forward to getting out soon
