Cadet base @ Fleetwood

4 of us fishing the cadet base on Sat 9th Oct on the morning tide. I will post arepot when we get back

good luck i went to anchorsholme on tuesday on the evening tide had 2 nice codling and they were keepers my first from the shore(keepers that is)

Well arrive in plenty of time with 2 lads and a good mate of mine from way back. Had a cuppa and a bit to eat and then set up all four rods and waited for the tide to come in. Things were going too well, weather was dry with a warmish EASTERLY WIND blowing.Not a bite although Jimmy had a good knock but missed it. All along the beach it was the same for everyone fishing although one lad had a doggie and a small codling. We fished both the incoming tide and the out going.

Someone please remind me not to fish in an easterly wind again

So it was Les Dawson all over again! Blankety Blank Cheque Book and Pen lol

Unlucky Keith i have been fishing the later tides and i tend to do a little better
i'm off to towyn tomorrow for 6 nights so should get a few sessions in i will put up a report when i get back

Bad luck Keith, you,ll have to give up the daytrips and start doing the nights, John and I have never blanked there at night even with easterlies.
Good luck on your trip to Towyn Dave, its full of packs of dogs at the moment as I know a few who,ve been there recently.
