Fleetwood Sat and Sun 19th and 20th Dec

Just getting ready to go to fleetwood again even if only to try out the new rods again, this time with a multi on one of them.

The aim of course as my lad reliably informs me, is to catch those elusive COD and not to drown worms as I have been doing. lo

Well both myself and the lad braved the weather conditions, the wind was so bad and the sand was whipped up into your face so hard that it was painful.

I decided to move to a more sheltered spot. Blue Bridge. after 45min Littlerabbi got one hell of a knock he struck into it and I could tell he was into something good, yep a 3.5lb cod caught from JUST OVER 30YDS OUT, What a great day for him.

I never even got a nibble. Unfortunately no pics and no more fish.

I'm still thawing out

wish i could have made the trip may be next time should have my new rod by then , nice report.

Nice one luke on the cod just goes to show if you leave you bait in the water long enough you'll catch

sorry didn't manage to make it today. what a horrible day for my family. Central heating gone so was freeszing till later this evening. Have to call for favours from all over. Sorry again. will try to make it next time.

Sorry about the late report on Saturday Keith, I stay anothor half hour after you left but never even had anything sniff my bait and then that sleet came in so I called it a day. Another blank.... even with my new rod but i must say what a rod.
