Treasure Island, Eastbourne 19/5/15

Went fishing from 10.30. 4.30, High tide approx. 1.00 weather sunny with a strong westerly wind, sea state lumpy.
Bait frozen black, squid, Mackerel and Sand eel, caught 2 small plaice, and 2 small bass avg weight about 1 pound.

Didn't know one could catch at Eastbourne so WD. BTW there is no Treasure Island at Eastbourne - had a look on GoogleEarth and only found a pier and a marina.

eccles,the names may differ if your local.still a good catch.

For those who can't find Treasure Island on the map, it is a childrens play area by the beach next to Redoubt fort. Went again on Thursday and caught 2 small Gurnards and a Large Spider Crab. Same baits, less windy but cooler.
