had our first trip of year today
used every bait possible but could barely break through the hordes of pin whiting.
they were in plague proportions, it was just ridiculous the sheer numbers of them.
did manage a nice doggie, 2 pouting and the biggest 3 bearded rockling I av ever seen.
must have had in excess of a 100 pin whiting.
the sea must be alive with the fish. providing most survive the whiting fishing later this year should be excellent.
a fun and busy day :D

nicely done on the fish, hope its a sign of things to come. haven't managed to get out yet this year hope I get half a good a session as yours
