A bit different to Hythe - Fishing in Brazil

Post by colinthefish » Fri Jan 11, 2013 11:01 pm

Instead of fishing Hythe or Deal this January, I find myself in Brazil fishing a lake with the owner using bamboo rods with a fixed length of line, wire trace and a size 2 hook with earthworms as bait. We fished for about 2 hours next to a small waterfall in 30 degree heat - we caught small catfish and the highlight for me was catching an electric eel.

A bit different to a cold night on Deal pier - but I'll be back there soon.
