Mackerel? Maybe...

Post by OuttaLuck » Fri May 25, 2012 10:28 am

Hi guys, back after a brief spell out of fishing.

Going to head down to Seabrook next week for some mackerel fishing (had some excellent session with mackerel here) - any reports from anyone on here of the mackies being about yet?

Mick (from Micks tackle) reported some catches and nice weather should be bringing them in - If nothing been heard I guess ill let you know next week.

Cheers

Lee

Went at Seabrook today, made a day of it sunbathing/fishing with a couple of mates. Saw what looked to be a huge shoal of whitebait about 1mile out - no use to us from shore - as the seagulls were swarming over them for over 15 minutes.

Caught 1 x Mackerel about 2 hours after high tide - we were just fishing in hope by then having been there for for over 4 hours. Plenty of other fisherman none of which caught anything.

Give it a few weeks and another bit of warm weather and we should be flying.
