Sandgate Castle

Post by maniacmark »

Hi all

I fished behind Sandgate Castle last night 7:30 to 11:30.
The wind had swung round from sw to nw making the beach quite sheltered and a good colour to the sea.
Started of with..... whitting and just for change a few more. I ended the night with 3 doggies ( all good size) a large pouting and some whitting.

Even the big 6/0 with whole squid stuffed with worms was taken by an unedersize whitting!

A couple of anglers fished 25yds along from us had a very nice cod 8-9lb.

The bigger fish are out there, just got to be in the right place at the right time.

Nice to get a report. I am sick of Whiting at the moment - hope for something different when I next go out.

Well done on the Doggies tho.

Merry Christmas!!!
