Cod at Dungeness

Post by dannypanter »

Many of the Cod caught at dungy at the moment are being caught on actual whitting them selves.
Using a rig similar to a hair rig that a carp fisherman would use. a big up and over flowing rig with a size 6/0 and tied on just below that a small baited size 2 allowing the small whitting to stay there as live bait just cm's from the big hook
This stops all the mess arsing about with dab and whitting taking your well prepared bait every two minutes

Danny.

Try it out on Sat Danny if the match is'nt blown off. Have you seen the forcast? Does'nt look good, good luck though wherever you all end up. Wish i could come but family Chritmas get-togethers must be attended or life as we know it will not be worth living!
