grain report today. 19-11-11

Post by dabhand »

hi all, fished one of my fave spots today.
started fishing at 4.30 and finished at 8pm, high water at 6.30
nice clear evening, no wind. slight sea.
used lug with 1 up 1 down on 1 rod and 2 hook flapper on the other.
started getting bites immediatly. all schoolie bass up to high water and then the whiting came on the feed at high tide.
i must say i was well surprised at the amount of fish we had.
i had 13 schoolie bass and 8 whiting , my bro and his missus had about 20 bass and whiting between them.
the fish were small but kept us busy. a most exellent 3-4 hours fishing
cheers gary

Nice one Gary, hope to get out in the next few weeks - if just to justify the money I've just spent at Veals & GAC.

Would say you had a cracking session.
