SOMEWHERE NEAR ALLHALLOWS 9-10-11

Post by dabhand »

me and my brother, after lots of deliberations thought we would give our local mark at allhallows a go for a bass and to avoid the whiting.
arrived at 9.30, high water 11.45
used just lug.
we had 3 schoolies in the first hour then it went dead .
for an hour before high and an hour and half after the crabs were on a feeding frenzy, the fish not getting a look in, then with about half hour of fishing left before the tide disappeared, the crabs gave us a break and we had 3 more schoolie bass.
total catch 6 bass. 3 small ones, 1 of a pound, 1 of lb and half and the biggest 2lb.
not a bad session, and we avoided the pesky yting.
cheers :D
