At Eastney yesterday saw seagulls working about 300 yards out ;)

Which way do the mackys usually move, or have they mved?
Or is it just random every year.
Im going down to Herne Bay in a few weeks so just wondering if they wil be there?

See alot of feathering at hayling today out with wife and nipper, did not see any come out dont know if they have had a run ecceles is probaley man to ask.

They will not be at Herne Bay. Mackerel on the North East Kent Coast is a rare occurrence, 2 years ago a large shoal came in along the stretch of coastline but it was the first in 30+ years. For Mackerel you need to look along Kent's southern coastline. It is unlikely that you will see any until a few more months, Good sign in Brighton but that is a long way from Kent as the fish swims.
