RETURNED FROM KINGSDOWN BEACH

Post by barehooks »

Hi all
Im back from fishing kingsdown beach there was 11 of us in the end met up with high hopes and lots of COD talk whilst getting suited and tackled up.
started fishing about an hr before low water and fished up until an hr after high water we tried every bait going and every type of tackle we had i was using a pennel rig most of the day.
6 of us had a dab each very small tho 1 rockling came out and 1 whiting.
Very very poor on the fishing side of it but nice to catch up with friends.
we all discussed over a cuppa why the fishing this year has been so poor Mackeral/cod/bass/ etc i would like to hear some of your views.
All in all it was still nice to get out after a busy christmas
thinking of dengemarsh thursday we will see
cheers all
