Blanked at Warden

Post by mjwoo »

went to warden today (me and stepdad) in aim of catching a ray or bass. arrived at 12 (HT at 3.30) but had nothing for the whole session, only the crabs were stipping our hooks. the guy next to us caught a nice eel and a schoolie and a bit further up someone caught a tiny flounder

we used 2/0 pulley droppers with crab and lug for the bass and 3/0 pulley droppers with bluey and sandeel for the rays - unfortunately it was just an off day

on the upper hand it was very calm and easy to fish although it did chuck it down towards the end

hopefully get out again soon in search of my first ray :D :D :D

cheers
matt
