Sounds like a good trip, and the whelk made laugh!
Looking forward to seeing your pics when the connection gets better..
What bait and rigs were you using?
.............Like that young 'Whippersnapper' of mine has said we are back in the 'Groove-jackson'!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the days of NADA are behind
, us.............AFTER DARK, it all kicked off loads of 'Doggies', Flounders,Whiting between us and saw small codling and a few small Bass caught taken further up the pier..........re rigs that we were using, my old favorite...Running ledger / zip slider boom and also single hook size 1o 'Pulley rig........a lot of success was had by others around us with2-3 flappers, so basically what ever suits you!!!!!, must mention Dean in 'Pleasure Angling' ......the local tackle shop, he supplied us with top notch bait a right nice bloke THANKS.
