Novice could use some help

Post by beginnersluck22 »

Hi There,

Looking to start beach fishing as a complete and utter NOVICE. I live in Bexhill and wondered if i need a rod licence and a permitt to fish on the beach.

Also if any one has any tips on simple set ups for beginner that would be great as well.

Gday m8. No you dont need a licence or permit to fish the beaches. If you look at the main menu column on the left under resources you will find a few sea fishing rigs to make yourself or ready made at any tackle shop. I used to live your way about 30 odd years ago (I had a pub "The Wheatsheaf" at Little Common) & had some good fish from Pevansey & Cooden Beach . Good luck & tight lines :D . Clive
