Im going to St Osyth over the Christmas Hols can any of you guys tell me where the best spots are to beach fish ? & is the ground rough ?

Hi Sidriver,
Essex is a bit out of my range, but I'm told people fish anywhere along Jaywick beach or Clackton Pier. Be good to hear how you get on.

Hi have fished there a cpl of times around the promenade .Last time I went fished the last bay before the prom and had a sole and few whiting >Be nice to hear how you get on there..Tight lines

hi mate, well st osyth is full of sparts and herring at the moment. i went out on a boat last week from west mersea, from mersea to the other side of the gunfleet sands was full of sprats
