Hi folks,
can anybody help me out please ?
Would like to fish Reculver Kent this weekend but never fished it ,
just wondered if any body could give me any advice .

ive been told by a couple of tackle shops in herne bay that since the new sea defence has been built at reculver the fish have been few and far between, so ive never bothered fishing there.

From the car park, walk to the right of the towers until you come to the beach past the ruddy great rocks. It's quite snag free there, probably not much about though, small whiting etc.

New user too!
Fished Reculver a few times last year and didn't catch at all!
Hence not tried since!
Not found any marks in that area fish very well, but it might just be me!

It's a poor mark, too shallow really, but out about 500yds is good in a boat or kayak.

Yeah dont bother, unless you want to spend all the time picking pin whiting off your hooks, my advice is travel a bit further say Sandwich bay, Walmer or Kingsdown much more chance of hitting something decent
