Anyone know what the fishing is like down there ? and the nearest bait shop.

HI m8 not to sure what the fishings like down there, i mainly fish in herne bay. but the nearest bait shop is at st johns road which is near the train station hope that helps

depends what you are going for if its mackrel then feathers probley the best but the most commen baits are mackrel,lug worm,peeler crab,squid

yea is it called seaview holiday park. if you dont get any luck at swalecliffe then try herne bay its only 10min away

got back last night, fished down on the beach saturday cault two small eels with lug. Lovely place and couldnt complain about the campsite.

Ken's Angling is the place in Swalecliffe...good luck fishing that coast, I spent a few hours on Sunday...tons of kelp coming in...okay if you want to make laver bread!

It's not the best place to fish, never has been. Then again, the Summer is pretty poor for shore fishing in most places.
