daz ,try looking on flee bay.theres a new wsb attura fly rod,7/8weight.9 1/2ft 2pce.30 quid plus 10quid pap.no point in shelling out to much if you cant get to grips with it.
once youve got your self sorted,dont forget your chesties,give us a shout .

Getting some waders nxt week m8 Scott going to have a bash aswell.Wrong time of year I know but hope to get my cast sorted a bit before the season kicks off.Will give you a shout when we go I could do with a few pointers if you dont mind Mick. B-) B-) B-)

Must be doing something wrong when I came back from the feild after casting practice my line had 5 wind knots in it,is that down to my cast or somthing else.

was it a bit windy when you praticed then daz :D .the answer is yes .its down to your casting mate,it will get better with pratice.
just a tip to assit with your casting, pull off a amount of line from the reel,say 20ft.lay it out in front of you in a straight line.just using one hand point the rod at 10 o,clock,flick the rod to 2 o,clock using your forearm not twisting your wrist.wait a second or two then flick the rod back to 10 o,clock.you should feel the rod load behind you .do this a few times to get the casting action right,then progress.
