On Your Marks

Post by MulletFly » Sat Sep 01, 2012 3:15 pm

I guess that good marks are a bit like cars. Great fun when they are shiney and new, when you can't wait to show them off to friends and take them along for a ride. Of course, as far as the general public is concerned, the car remains out of view in the garage. But like cars, marks become worn, through too many miles, passengers and hitch hikers. Performance gradually diminishes with each passing year, until the wheels drop off. My favourite mark is down to the bare rims. Can't complain really...you may own your car but you certainly do not own the sea.
Time then to look for a new model. Started searching last week and found one which I really liked. Returned this morning for a proper test drive and everything is all shiney and new again. Can't beat the smell of new upholstery.
