went back to my spot from yesterday,totally differant .slight southerly wind and bright sky.carried on with the gurgler caught about 8 all around the pound again.then whilst moving closer to shore i cast my gurgler and caught this little chap :D around 50cm

biggest bass for me so far on the fly,returned to fight another day.

Nice fish mate, had two very similar today myself at coast guard station just next to the sea cadet base at fleetwood.

had one on earlier ,thought i was well in,then the weed came to the surface.the bass of 1lb had swam around a clump of japenese weed.damm
all good sport on the fly rod .

Nice Fish, I love getting any fish on any artificial lure but getting a nice bass on a fly must be special!! Well done...

Well done on the fish might try some lures while im at spurn not heard that they work there but worth a try

Too true. Caught a 3lb golden grey last week. Thought I had hooked a bonefish, the speed it took off at! A real knuckle rapping run. Full report in next months mag. Ghosts are falling fast and furious now :)
