dogfish mackerel gar dogfish mackerel....did I say dogfish ? rays eels flounders plaice pout smoothound

ragworm, mackerel that you have just caught, squid sandeels

running leger or simple two hook flapper

yes, they don't mind the rain they are already quite wet

long range forecast http://www.xcweather.co.uk/ is for NE breeze, that's good for getting distance when float-fishing as it is coming from behind you.

ps you can pick up bait from Revels on your way, they might have ragworm, worth a phone call to check.
saves the nightmare of parking in Weymouth to go to a tackle shop.
