FISHING SEASONS?
As I am new to fishing can anyone advise where I can find out what fish appear and when, in Southwest coastal waters. Thanks.

Hi Waggoner,
I,m not an expert but now is a good time for Bass. Cast just beyond the breakers using any bait. West Bexington is good in the evening at high tide. Mackerel are moving out now. Autumn and earley winter are one of the best times for Whiting and Codling. Night fishing is best. Again, Chesil beach is one of the best places. Visit the Magicseaweed websit to check out conditions. Dont bother if there is a strong S SW W wind. Very hard to hold the bottom when it is rough.
Hope this helps.
Sam.
