Good morning

Being a novice fisherman and hearing all about the fabled cod from the shore, are there any marks near to Plymouth that could throw some up?

I'm hearing a lot about Chesil and I will probably have an overnight at somepoint but what about Slapton - isnt it a similar type beach?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I had a dire summer and need a moral boosting session!

Hi Taff.
Heard from local Bait shop that Slapton has been trawled recently and that one end has nets laid. :(

If correct that will kill off Slapton for a while.

Im trying Seaton, Cornwall this weekend and going to fish the tide in and out. Not sure what, if anything has been caught there recently but going to try for Codling, Bass and Rays. :-O

More chance of blanking :((

Hi try the marks along the tamar like devils point, north corner, pottery quay etc as cod get caught along here as they chase the whiting up and down the river. Could also try under the bridge as well on the saltash side on the floating pontoon if you can get on it.
