had nothing all season :(( does anyone no where is fishing + has it been a bad season or is it just me

Hi SP, between you me and the gatepost its been bad the past 3 years in most places, ive only caught 1 macky in 2 years. Heres hoping winter brings a nice Cod or 3 Cheers...Mick

I agree this summer has not been the best. Interesting to know more details, Where do you fish? what time of day? what tackle? what bait used? These details might enable others "in the know" to give some sound and helpful local advice.

Look on the bright side, this winter has got to be better than the summer in angling terms!

I wouldn't bank on it , what with the mackerel being thin on the ground.

Hi mate, I'm not far from you, Plymouth. And the fishing round here hasn't been too bad!

Hope's Nose in Torquay has been producing Mackie by the bucket load. Restocked my freezer in one session.

Whitsand Bay has produced some double figured Bass in the last month, mainly caught with live sand eels whilst Rays and Bass have been caught up the Tamar by the bridge.

Finally, Noss Mayo has produced some good Wrasse along with Bull Huss and Pollack (or Colins as Sainsburys likes to call them now!)

Think perseverance is the key at the moment, tight lines and bent rod.
