I think it's a fish with lots of names, scorpion fish, long-spined bullhead, sea scor[ion to name a few. It can be quite reddish like your one. Take a look at this link http://www.glaucus.org.uk/bullhead.htm

hi fill, what you have there is a long spined sea scorpian m8 we get plenty of them around scarborough
