hi guys im on the look out 4 a good plaice venue 2 try this year?? any suggestions would be great, cheers dave.

Have you tried East Portlemouth before? that can be good on it's day

weston is a good place for plaice in mid april.

Some small Plaice have been caught from East Portlemouth.

A lot of guys simply do not cast far enough to contact the better plaice. Don't know about your area but around here one needs to cast at least 100 yds which is a fair old distance and generally only achieved with one of the so called power casts. Personally I do a version of the OTG cast which gets me out about 120 yds on a good day.
