Capzied boat Axmouth harbour

Post by Alan1412 »

The torrential rain we had last night has not only had devastating effects on peoples homes. but at least two fishing boats( to my knowledge) were capsized and sunk in Axmouth harbour today.
The estuary that should have had a trickle of water in it at low tide was in fact full at low water time. Incredible. I do feel for the owners of the boats. The one in the picture I understand is quite new and the owner has spent a lot of money on it. Feel for him big time, but believe well insured. Lets hope so.
