Sea Fishing Angling

Two young local fishermen lost their lives fishing Cable Bay, Ty Croes last week. One got into difficulties in the water and the other jumped in to save him before being swept out to sea.

Ty Croes rock ledges are renowned for strong swells surging up the rocks even on calm days, so be careful and don't fish on the water-edge on these ledges or you will be asking for trouble.

A sad state of affairs, this happens time and time again. Not only do you feel for them, but also for the ones they have left behind.
