Welcome Fitzy,
East of Trecco is Newton Beach which is usually best fished 3 hrs either side of high water, usual suspects school bass (always a chance of bigger)
whiting from now as well as the ocasional Pollock
Further east over the estuary is Ogmore ... at the far end towards southerndown is the mark known as the "DEEPS" which is good ion the summer for Rays, Conger Hounds and Doggies, in the winter you have a chance of codling.
The Pier and the wall at Porthcawl are comfortable marks for easy walk and always a chance of whiting, dogfish and the occasional better fish.
Finally at the far west of Porthcawl are Sker Rocks which is a great mark, for all species as there is a large mussell bed not far of the point, but fish with care, the
rocks will cover as the tide floods.
Good luck
Colesy (Alan) :)
