Sea Fishing Angling

hi just wondering if there was a good all round rig i can use for a novice nothing thats to species specific. normally only go down aberavon on the beach am going down pembrey tomorrow. i have tried various rigs but as new not sure if i am doing the right thing. have tried 2 hook flappers, paternosters, ones with booms on and off. the only one i have any joy with was a basic one hook rig. have tried a assortment of baits rag, lug mackerel. not sure if its the rigs or just that is dead as the moment as i was down aberavon the other night off the beach there where about 8 other people fishing and no one had any thing.

When fishing a new venue I usually use a running ledger with two hooks above. Your doing nowt wrong it is just that the fishing has been hit and miss all summer. Hope this helps. keith
