use a spinning rod with about 15lb line
tie the spinner on the end of the line , you will need nothing else on the end
then cast out and reel in , try different speeds
think of the sea in front of you like a clock face
them cast at the different numbers of the clock so you cover a bigger area
also try different depths
cast out then count down in seconds 1 then 2 and so on
then reel in at 1
it will be near the surface
then 2
it will be deeper and so on
10 will be even deeper still
it will depend on where you fish, as to how nany seconds before you hit the bottom
so its not just chuck and hope ,its a bit more complicated but fun
you could also use a set of three feathers with the spinner on the end so you may catch mackeral and even a bass
any more queries just ask
cheers steve
