OK, will stop messing now. Almost all docks contain scores of mullet but they are absolute sods to catch. Also most docks in the southern half of the country will have some biggish bass patrolling around, especially at night. I would search for a spot where you can see worm casts and holes at low water then go there at high water in the evening and plonk a couple of lug in about 30 yds out on say a one up one down rig and wait for some activity. If it doesn't work, find another spot with similar gound and do the same again. Sooner or later you will find a fishy spot no prob.

Hi Mate, I fish Barry dock too often ;) I find the best method is to float fish using light gear and I find mussel to be an unbeatable bait both for the bass and mullet ps you wont find worm casts at low water because it's a dock and as such is not tidal ;)
Cheers Steve
